For Patients

Emerald Coast Neurology utilizes a team approach to patient care.  Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are an integral part of our “team-based” care and work directly with our doctors and other staff members to improve quality and efficiency.  They play an integral and essential part of our healthcare delivery.  On your initial visit, your Neurologist will set a plan of care.  An expedited follow-up visit will be scheduled with one of our experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners, who will continue to carry out the physician’s plan of care.

Our goal at Emerald Coast Neurology is to deliver the highest quality care possible to our patients in a compassionate and caring environment. In order to provide these services in a timely and organized manner, we have instituted the following policies.

Please review these policies before your appointment, and feel free to contact us should you have any questions. Thank you!

Appointments

Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8:00 to 12 p.m.

If you have not completed the pre-visit check in process from the email sent to you please arrive 30 minutes early to complete the new patient paperwork which will be completed via an electronic device. If you are uncomfortable filling out your paperwork on an electronic device, we ask that someone accompanies that will be able to assist you with this. All patients must present current photo identification and a valid insurance card at check-in.

Although we schedule individual appointments, it is difficult to adhere to an exact schedule when dealing with medical issues. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

If you arrive late for your appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule to another time or date.

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, please contact the Emerald Coast Neurology office at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. If you fail to keep your appointment and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a $100 fee for office visits and $250 fee for procedures. No further appointments will be scheduled until this fee has been paid in full.

Our office is located in Pensacola.
